An $829 price marks the cost for the new IPad with 4G, WI-FI and a 64GB SSD. You would think all the bugs were worked out and that the product wouldn’t be rushed to production but there seem to be more here than meets the eye. Don’t trade in your old IPads until you read more on the first Macintosh product released since the loss of their founder.
As of now, there are three main problems that have been reported. The first being a heat issue either caused by the battery or the video card. The second is the 4G LTE data bandwidth cap. And the next issue plays off the last one which may get expensive. The third is a WI-FI connection problem which causes a lack of ability to connect to even close unsecured wireless connections.
The heat problem seems to come from the processor in the lower left corner and has been seen at temperatures as high as 116° by Consumer Reports during game play. “Heatgate” as the issue is appropriately called is just the beginning of challenges to have arisen in the first week of sales.

Of the several issues that have arisen since its release, the one we see as the biggest issue is the 4G connection on the LTE system. The bandwidth caps from providers vary but what happens when you hit it doesn't. After you reach your limit, you’ll receive a charge from your provider for every Gigabyte or Megabyte you download.
The WI-FI issue may be able to be resolved but we believe this could have been done before the release by Apple. It’s reported that https://discussions.apple.com/message/17901528#17901528" target="_blank">“wifi only works when i'm within 6 ft of my router.” These are big hurdles for newest addition to your local Mac store to jump but the Fan-Addicts will take a bite out of any Apple. Whether the new IPad is a poisoned fruit or an Apple pie is yet to be seen. This can only be determined over time and trial. For now the only one of the 4G wireless companies that can keep up with its heavy consumption is CLEAR.
CLEAR has Unlimited 4G service for $50/mo. for a Hotspot, USB or Home device. Contact us for more information and to see if you qualify for the 4G Revolution. For the price, you can even afford the service even if you don’t always get signal. Bring an end to “Antennagate” 2012.
With the death of Steve Jobs (1955-2011) less than a year ago, Apple has made a hard push to release the new IPad HD or IPad 3. The IPad may be a HOT item this year but we'll wait for it to cool down before we think about getting on the bandwagon. Apple has competition chomping at the bit when it comes to the improvements over the rest of the market but the problems may give them hope coming into the holiday season. We see a new and improved IPad hitting the market within the year to combat the current problems being discovered by the end user and not in testing. We hope Apple take more care when designing and testing their future devices so they can minimize the aggravation and burden on the customer to correct patchable software. Increased heat is something all handheld computer processors from when they are under heavy load. We haven’t been able to find if the Intel or AMD processor is more prone to overheating but this product is still in its infancy. The only cure for the 4G bandwidth issue is to stop using it for streaming video unless you have a WI-FI connection. This will minimize your 4G usage from your carrier and maximize the money in your wallet. We hope this information will help anyone interested in the new IPad and give them a heads up on what they may face if they do or did decide to get one.

Don't get duped into paying an arm for a fake when you can add a leg for the real thing. With technology advancing daily, counterfeiting does also. There is an old adage that says "if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is." Buyer beware of false Operating Systems on sites like Ebay and eBid. These are sometimes fakes of the seller says that they don't know if the code will work. Any valid OS will install, activate and update. If your copy of Windows 7 Ultimate or any other software doesn't do this then you are probably the victim of a scam and should contact the real manufacturer to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howtotell/cfr/report.aspx" target="_blank">report the problem. They have most likely have gotten calls before on this very issue and will want all the emails and contact info that you have concerning the seller.

If you have gotten you disk to do all the above then you will most likely love the changes to the newest Windows OS as much as we do. 7 has several new features that we have found to be a benefit to us and our business. The Snipping Tool gives you a screen capture tool built into the software as well as a crash recovery tool that will check your system for errors if there is a problem or your laptop crashes to the floor because you trip over the cord. We've seen it happen before and the Hard Disk Drive survive. The new light weight HDD's that are in laptops are now made of thin glass with a coating that allows the data to be stored. Hopefully this will give you something to think about when you throw your computer in the back seat on the way to work.
We hope this is a helpful post for those looking to get it straight as to the legitimacy of the programs you purchase but remember that buying the real thing can be made cheaper by purchasing a COA Product Key Code but make sure your Microsoft packaged programs are good by going to see how to tell for yourself.

I stopped for lunch at the McDonalds at 650 150th Ave in Madeira Beach, FL 33708 and hopped on to check my mail and work on this site. It took longer than I expected to access my webpage so I did a speed test.

From the results of the test, I determined that the system was too far from the central office or has damage to the line the DSL is on. Speeds like this are barely "broadband." I took out my CLEAR Spot and got on in a second. I guess that new tech/WIMAX is better in this area than old tech/DSL.

I hope tests like this show the bennifit of having options for our services. We lose our power of choice if there is only one option to chose from. On St. Pete Beach the choice is CLEAR and so is the best bandwidth not to mention you can take it with you. For a free site survey call 813-900-38380

In the day and age of the computer, we have the option to avoid Television programing. What this means is that you are free to watch or program yourself with whatever floats your boat. The internet has opened doors to media long lost to the cutting room floor and even those shows that you loved from days past. In looking through some of these wonderful sites, we found shows we missed, loved and even ones you never thought existed. Television is becoming more and more linked to the computer day by day. If proof is what you need then look at the back of your TV to see how many of the connections you find that are commonly used with your VCR/DVD player, Cable/Satellite or any other components you may chose use. You will find that RCA, HDMI and DVI connections are the most common but these are just the beginning of the digital video revolution and what’s to come. The next question should be, is this a good thing?
The change from analog to digital format, amazingly, took place on George W. Bush Sr. birthday of 6-12-2009. This day set the stage for the future of visual media transmission to viewers in several ways. The first one that everyone noticed was that you now needed a subscription service, such as Cable or Satellite, or a converter box in order to receive the signal form local station transmitters unless you purchased a converter box. This change in technology was supposed to make rabbit ears obsolete but that is only if you are hard wired into a receiver tied to a service provider such as Verizon, Bright House or DirecTV. In years of visiting customers and listening to their video issues with each carrier, I came to a conclusion. The best one around is the one YOU, the customer, like and get the best rate on! I have had customers who love and hate each one of these types of service for one reason or another. No matter what, they always want the best rate and nothing that they don’t want. In order to satisfy this requirement it is important to know what you want and an agent should ask for such information.

Comcast Acquires Majority Stake In NBC Universal
Published : Saturday, 29 Jan 2011, 12:53 PM EST
(NewsCore)
- PHILADELPHIA --
Comcast Corp., the largest cable television company in the US, has officially acquired a majority stake in NBC Universal from General Electric Co., the company announced Saturday. Comcast and GE closed their transaction on Friday after a yearlong regulatory review. The deal -- under which Comcast will own 51 percent of NBC Universal and GE will retain 49 percent -- was approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) nearly two weeks ago in a 4-1 vote. At regulators' requests, Comcast agreed to several conditions for the merger, including providing more space on its cable systems for independently-owned channels, guaranteeing the independence of NBC news operations, airing more children's programming and keeping NBC network programming on free over-the-air TV channels.
Comcast also agreed to increase the diversity of programming available to Spanish-speaking viewers and offer broadband services to low-income Americans at reduced monthly prices. The conditions will remain in effect for seven years, the FCC said. “NBCU has been a great business for GE over the past 20 years, generating an average annual return of 11 percent,” said GE CEO Jeff Immelt in a statement. He was recently appointed by President Barack Obama to lead a new White House Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. “Reducing our ownership stake to 49 percent allows GE to continue sharing in NBCU’s growth while also providing significant cash to invest in our high-technology infrastructure businesses.”

SyFy Sale: up to 50% off DVDs, T-Shirts, and more!
This brings three of the largest cable, movie and Television companies under one roof. Now Comcast, Universal and NBC are one big happy family or at least they play one on camera. With shows like The Office, The Biggest Loser and Saturday Night Live, what is next for this media giant? NBC has changed hands several times so it is no surprise to see it sold again. The shocker is that now the main forms of video media from some of the biggest companies are one and the same. The future is yet to be written but I'm sure it is bound to be interesting.

I just got a great deal on Dental and Vision Insurance. It cost us $141.99 for a year of Premier Choice coverage per person through SafeGuard. I have personally had this company’s coverage before and I saved the cost of the plan on my first visit to the dentist but now I can get glasses too, thanks SafeGuard! The cost breaks down to 11.99 a month but they have a plan for as low as $8 a month also. Careington International, Aetna Dental Access, DentalSave, Humana One, Symetra Life Insurance Company, Nationwide, Delta Dental and Ameritas Group offer rates from $8 a month to $45.74 for an individual to get just Dental coverage.
There is also a sister site for Medical Insurance from companies like Humana One, Assurant Health, UnitedHealthOne, UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Regence Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield Illinois, Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, Blue Cross Blue Shield Tennessee, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Blue Cross of Idaho, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, GHI, HeathNet, IMG, Kaiser Permanente, LifeWise, Pacificare, American Medical Security, Cigna, Atlantis Health Plans, BestLife, Celtic and several others. I found coverage for $74 to $332 a month for someone like me in Thonotosassa Florida. This is not bad and we consider using this service for our company’s medical coverage when the time comes.

We recently purchased a CLEAR Spot and just got it up and running. We wanted to give you, the user, a step by step walkthrough to getting your new device up and running. We will have links to the Firmware and screenshots of what you need to do to get online.
CLEAR Spot CradlePoint PSH300 2.5.3 Firmware Update
CLEAR Spot Modem Drive 5.2.216 Update
First, go to the CLEAR download pages linked above and download the drivers to a folder you can easily find. Then make sure you have your CLEAR Spot plugged in to prevent losing power during the setup. You can dial into the device by putting 192.168.0.1 into the URL bar on your browser. This will take you to the login screen; enter the underlined or last 6 digits of the MAC ID on the bottom of your CLEAR Spot as your default password.
Once you gain access to your WI-FI router; you will need to go to the Tools page and move to the left side of the page where it says Firmware and click it. This will bring up the page below. We had Firmware Version 2.4.3 but the new one is 2.5.3 which changes the background to the one you see in the pictures. You will also want to update the Modem Drivers while you are here just to make sure that you don’t have to come back later. This whole process should only take about five minutes to complete but your internet connection may vary this time during download.
We hope this helps and we will continue to post solutions to problems we come across, as we run into them.
